International Dentist Letter of Recommendation

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Dr. ____, ____ DDS, and I am the owner and operator of Dublin Metro Dental in Dublin, Ohio. I have served as the President of the Ohio Academy of General Dentistry and continue to serve on the board and as Regional Director representing dentists in Ohio and Indiana. The purpose of this Letter is to recommend my assistant and mentee Dr. ____ ____ ____ for selection to complete an Advanced Placement program for international dentists. Divya volunteered to help around our clinic for eight months, from May through December of 2023, assisting, shadowing, and supporting us in several areas from patient management through office routines.

I could not recommend Dr. ____ ____ ____ more highly for a doctoral program in the USA because I believe that her enormous talent is much needed and is a great gift, especially her ability to help immigrant Indian families with whom she shares one or more native languages. Many Indian immigrants help to swell the ranks of the underserved in the USA and Divya has the right combination of desire and capacity to help them. She has a solid foundation in dental care and treatment procedures, drawing on her extensive clinical experience as a dentist in India. Her proficiency is most admirable in a wide range of dental procedures, including oral prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, fluoride treatment, implants, and Invisalign.

Divya seamlessly integrated herself into our dental team and made extremely valuable contributions to the care that we provide in several areas, especially patient education. She always displayed enormous compassion for all our patients and fostered a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment. Divya consistently exhibited a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence, approaching each task with enthusiasm and professionalism: preparing and sterilizing equipment, taking impressions, assisting with dental procedures, or educating patients on oral hygiene strategies.

Divya's proficiency in utilizing dental software such as Dentrix, Open Dental, and EagleSoft was especially helpful, and her embrace of new dental technologies inspiring. Dr. Sree Mukkapati's integrity, professionalism, and communication skills will make her an asset to the dental team fortunate to have her. Her clinical expertise, professionalism, and commitment to patient care make her an outstanding candidate who will undoubtedly excel in an IDP.
