I have learned a great deal about many aspects of dentistry that go beyond or serve as a foundation for the patient’s chair. Through these opportunities, I have observed the complexity behind the fine motor skills of a dentist, realized the value of empathy for patient recovery, and seen the stellar results of solid interpersonal relationships with colleagues and patients alike.

I pride myself on being a compassionate dentist and I always do everything that I can to put my patient first and to empathize with them, always putting myself in their shoes. I have long gone that extra mile to participate in outreach programs. Even with the COVID-19 outbreak in full-swing, I continued to volunteer as an on-call doctor seeing emergency patients in need.   

As a mother of 2 children and an immigrant to the USA, I have faced many challenges and obstacles in my journey to become a dentist. Despite these challenges, I am determined to pursue my dream of becoming a dentist, and I am thrilled by the chance to further my education. My experience balancing the demands of motherhood and dentistry has made me a master of time management and the multitasking that is required to excel in Dentistry.

I am very excited about the prospect of working side-by-side with research investigators in dentistry, potentially on dental stem cells.
